Valley of Flowers Trekking tour in India

Focus: Of all the Himalayan meadows and flower valleys, nothing compares to Garhwal's unique flower garden, the Valley of Flowers, which is endured with a most fascinating, fabulous, and rich variety of flowering herbs.

Trek to Valley Of Flowers, a national park & a paradise of wild flowers, mix with Yogis & view the spectacular Diya-Aarti in the holy city of Rishikesh, Trek to Hemkund Sahib (height - 4320 mtrs) a revered site for Sikhs.

Suggested Program :

DAY 01 ARRIVE DELHI
Arrive Delhi. Assistance and garland welcome upon arrival. Transfer to hotel. Morning free for rest. Afternoon halfday sightseeing tour to visit the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Gandhi Memorial, and Humayun Tomb and while returning back to your hotel drive past the India Gate and President's Palace. Overnight at the Hotel.

DAY 02 DELHI / RISHIKESH (DRIVE ~ 5 TO 6 HRS.)
Morning drive to reach Rishekesh. Arrive Rishikesh and transfer to the hotel. Late afternoon proceed for a sightseeing tour of Rishikesh, a town of temples, Ghats (bathing steps) and Ganges. Experience evening prayer on the banks of river Ganges and later drive back to the hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

DAY 03 RISHIKESH / JOSHIMATH (DRIVE ~ 9 TO 10 HRS.)
Early morning after breakfast drive to Joshimath. The entire drive is along the Alaknanda River till we reach Joshimath. En routes visit Deoprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnprayag and Nandaprayag. All these are the tributaries to River Ganges and the view of these confluence Rivers are amazing. Arrive at Joshimath and overnight stay at the Hotel.

DAY 04 JOSHIMATH / GOVINDGHAT / GHAGARIA (DRIVE ~ 1 HOUR / TREK 5 TO 6 HRS.)
Early morning after breakfast drive to Govindghat, a small hamlet situated on the confluence of Alaknanda and Laxman Ganga. Arrive and commence trek to Ghagaria. The entire trek is along the roaring Laxman Ganga. Arrive at Ghagaria and camp overnight.

DAY 05 GHAGARIA / VALLEY OF FLOWERS / GHAGARIA (ROUND TREK - 4 TO 5 HRS.)
Morning after breakfast trek to Valley of Flowers. The first part of the trek is through thick forest then we come to the open meadows. Arrive and explore the area. After encountering rare flowers, e.g. Brahma Kamal, Blue Poppy, Potentilla and hundreds of others we trace our steps back to Ghagaria. Overnight stay at the Camps.

DAY 06 GHAGARIA / HEMKUND / GHAGARIA (ROUND TREK - 8 TO 9 HRS.)
Morning after breakfast trek to Hemkund, the pilgrimage for the Sikhs as well as for the Hindus. On a clear day one can see the panoramic view of spectacular mountain peaks and the valley below. Explore the area and we trek down to Ghagaria. Arrive and overnight stay at the Camps.

DAY 07 GHAGARIA / GOVINDGHAT / BADRINATH (TREK ~ 4 TO 5 HRS. / DRIVE ~ 2 HRS.)
Morning after breakfast trek down to Govindghat. Arrive and commence drive to Badrinath. One of the four most important pilgrimage places for Hindus all over the world. Arrive and stay for the overnight at the Camp.

DAY 08 BADRINATH
A day free to explore the vicinity of Badrinath. The fascinating peaks of Neelkanth, Mana are best photo opportunities for photographers. Overnight stay at the Camps.

DAY 09 BADRINATH / RISHIKESH (DRIVE ~ 9 - 10 HRS.)
Early morning drive to reach Rishikesh. En route we stop at Srinagar for lunch. Arrive late in the evening at Rishikesh and check-in at the Hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

DAY 10 RISHIKESH / DELHI (DRIVE ~ 5 TO 6 HRS.)
Morning drive back to Delhi. Arrive and check-in at the Hotel.
Upon arrival in Delhi assistance and check into the hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 11 Leave Delhi
Morning visit to the Lotus Temple and Qutab Minar. Evening witness the Dances of India show followed by farewell Dinner at the Village Bistro complex. Followed by departure transfer to the International Airport to board next days' early morning flight for onward Destination.
